Jim a hardworking construction worker who has pain behind him from sexual abuse as a child . As a result of his pain he transfers his pain to his wife and kids through verbal and physical abuse causing his kid to do and act like his father at school,by physically and verbally bullying a girl. The cycle continues until the girl his son bullied at school stop the cycle by showing love and understanding and helping the son see that he matters and doesn't have to follow the patterns of his father .The bullied girl buy the bully a pair of sneakers and befriend the bully . She end the cycle of bullying by showing love and compassion and forgiveness.
